Out like a TORNADO....

This is a little late, but Happy Holidays! The beginning of Decemeber was crazy i didn't get any Christmas card out and we were getting ready to go to Logan for the holidays! We are so very thankful to be able to have the opportunity to spend Christmas with Kooka (Kyra) , Popa and Grama! And...Lucy! We also got to spend tiny little bit of time with Casey's sister Jeannie Ashley...thank you again for driving over from WY to come see Kyra, Avyn and Rhys! We had a great time in Logan it just wasn't long enough. Hopefully, we can make it out this summer and get to see some friends along with our families! Our trip getting to Logan was a wild adventure leaving us to spend the night in Atlanta because flights had been delayed so when we arrived in Salt Lake we were so frazzelled that we forgot to grab our pack and play off the baggage claim. Rhys got to experience sleeping in a drawer for a couple of nights until my cousin Kelli and his wife Ali flew in to pick the crib up for us. Thank you so much...you are lifesavers!

We were happy to have Rhys blessed. Thank you Dad! We also got to see great grandpa mendenhall turn 91. Happy Birthday Gramps!

The trip was fun and relaxing playing in the snow and swimming. Rhys got to go swimming for the first time. He loved it! I think he will be a fish just like his sister and brother! The diva showing us her dive and the pimp chillin'!

I did seem to find time to get some cute pictures of Kooka and the boys together. Avyn loves Kooka so much he can't seem to get enough...Kooka is so good to him and Rhys, even when she just wants to be ALONE! It makes it hard to say our goodbyes. Thank you Kooka for being a fun and loving big sis! You're the best and we love you!

Popa and Rhys taking a morning nap after Santa came! PRICELESS!

Our trip finally had to come to an end...we were sad to leave and funny part about it is Casey and I haven't had the best of luck since we have gotten married...it has been filled with career changes and situations that have put alot of drama and stress into our marriage so we were so excited to get out of dodge, but now that we are gone we would love to have the chance to be close to Logan again someday! I said close that means it could still be couple 100 miles away! :) So anyway, 2008 definitley was challenging and trying! The year was filled with anxiety, fear, and 7 lbs 14 0z of love and happiness. But, the most important was it made me see Casey as an amazing father and husband! He works hard and tries to do the best he can for his family when the times haven't been the best! I love him to the moon and back and hope 2009 will bring our family and yours lots of love, happiness, luck and fortune! CHEERS!
